Event - "Playboy" party at club "Illusion".
Photography - Let me start off by stating that the nudie pics here are not my idea of good erotic photography at all. Or not even erotic photography for that matter. They're just that - nudie pics. In a club. I was summoned to take a few pictures of this month's centerfold and I don't know what I was expecting, but with the model posing on stage and in front of hundreds of clubgoers, I certainly didn't get it. Nobody's fault really, but I guess I have an idealized view of erotic photography (partly probably because I've never really done it) and this certainly wasn't it. Frankly I was struggling whether to put up any pictures at all from the shoot, that's how little I think of them, but then again - they're nudie pics, so that has to account for at least something.
Also I've been meaning to get a set of colored filters for my flash more than a year now. I find the bluish tint of the flash mixed with the orange tint of the ambient quite appalling. Oh and by the way I'm back to using the kit lens. This time the IS version of the classic 18-55mm F3.5-5.6 and it is excellent just as I expected it to be.
