Event - The best gymnasts from near and far gathered for a world-class women's individual and group gymnastics competition called "Miss Valentine".
Photography - In fact I wanted to try my new Samsung NV24HD pocket camera's HD 720p movie capabilities, but then one photographer just came to me and asked whether I wanted to try out his 200mm 1.8 Canon fixed lens. He said the lens needed a sporty guy and in his opinion I fit the bill. Did I want to try out that semi-monstrosity of a lens? You bet! I must say though that without a tripod or monopod, it was quite a workout - but I loved it.
But still, I didn't take too many pictures and initially didn't even plan on putting any of the pictures online. I firmly believe that "just as good as last time" is not good enough. If the pictures aren't better than previously, then forget it. After a week of just having the pictures sit on my computer, I took a look and well, couldn't resist the temptation, so here they are.
